The Checks (support)
67 Special were a pretty good band, not really for me. The Checks; I like their songs, but the lead singer is a poser and an odd character. It disgusted me when he spat into the air (twice). Sure, I love rock and roll but there is a line.
Jet were GREAT. The crowd was bitchy. I went to the toilet before Jet came on and trying to get back to my spot (at the front and centre, only one person in front of me) was hard and painful. A couple of guys pushed towards the front and tried to crowd surf, one time landing on my head. Three hard-core fans were in front of me, one girl even made her own Jet tour singlet. The staff obviously knew they were as at the end they gave them a copy of the set list each, a drum stick each and some guitar picks. I took over 80 photos, here are some of the better ones.

it was like he was just waiting for me to take the picture. my camera was taking it's time getting ready, but he stood there until after i had taken the photo.
yes i realise the middle is out of line - but i like it better this way
he threw the harmonica into the crowd, but to the left of me. i'd love to learn the harmonica - for if i go to jail and the cliche.

i tried to read it all night, but his vest barely moved. from all the photos i have of cam i can make out "vote (t?)he(m?) *ums out!"
