Don't wanna be lonely

Black Friday
13/07/07
Bulcock Beach

My tired model

There's the smile

Ooh, look at the big boat (it's a ship), yes, look at the big boat.

Not that anyone would swim in the water, anyone sane that is.

I love how the water looks in this photo.

It's so hard to pick a favourite, as I like so many. This is definitely in the top 5

Mel sent me a text message in the afternoon saying she was bored and did I want to come over. So I charged my battery for as long as I could (15mins) before I got impatient and this is what my low-batt camera came up with. It was a beautiful, and cold, evening. Following this was watching Better Homes & Gardens while eating fish and chips and then "Four Brothers" with some chocolate pudding and ice-cream.

There were plans for tonight (being Saturday), but nobody (other than Mel and I) bothered to make an effort. So I had Thai with my family and the wally's.

Dashing Races

Caloundra Races
01.07.07

Mel, her mum, uncle and I went to the local Races where we had "front row seats" in the VIP area, thanks to her Grandma and Pop. Delicious lunch, delightful dessert and drinks (only one alcoholic drink to celebrate the birth of my twin cousins 12 hours earlier). Thankfully, the sun was shining and it wasn't the coldest day this winter.

Mel waiting at the door for our ride.

Whoopsie!

Beautiful shot, pity about the sun in my eyes

Go horsies! Win me some money!

Mmm, tasty chain.

And so ends the glorious, sunny day.

Aussie World

16.06.07
A trip to a local small theme park.
1 dim sim (that I'm allergic to) and 2 dizzy rides and I was sick and out. But it gave me a chance to just sit, think and take lots of photos. Here's a sample of the 136 photos I took during the day.

If only

Nae (above) and Mel (below) holding on for dear life as I bounced around the carriage to take photos.

Mel telling me off

They only leaned forward as the ferris wheel had paused and we were about to hop off

This is us 3 on the 'Mozzie Musta' before I felt sick. We were on the chairs 'Booma Zooma' prior.

Photo of the roof of the Ettamogah Pub, as I was recovering and the other 2 were busy going on other rides.

Nae & Mel on the Booma Zooma, great shot since I was so far away.

The Octopus.

Nae, not feeling so well after two consecutive rides (and the last of many)

Pitt Stop anyone?

Mel hit a FOUR!

She climbed over the fence and through the garden to get the ball back.

Finished!

We won this lion - he's 1/2 Mel's, 1/4 mine and 1/4 Nae's. Nae and I have visitation rights. haha.
